2012 Tax Free Holidays

While it may be tempting to go out and get all those school supplies that are now going on sale, it could be worth the wait if your state has a Sales Tax Holiday.  Here in Tennessee, we pay anywhere from 9.25-9.75 % tax so by waiting, that almost 10% is a HUGE Savings. Our local schools start on 8/6 so we will barely make it in time, and I hate last minute shopping, but as I said, the savings will be well worth it.

I am including a list of Sales Tax Holiday’s by state but I want to give you some great tips on how to be prepared and ready to save even more for when the dates get here first.
