Wholly Pineapple Salsa! The only thing I could think when I got this great cooler full of Wholly Salsa was put that pineapple salsa on some chicken! All I had to do was take some chicken breast and lightly season them. I then sauteed them in a dollop of olive oil and cooked them thoroughly. Wa La! Add some Wholly Pineapple Salsa and it was delish! You could really taste the Pineapple, which is perfect for chicken, and it had a little tang with the bite of salsa flavors. Not quite spicy (just the tang) but it did give you that impression without the burn. The Wholly Pineapple Salsa was especially a hit with my husband who loves salsa.
We also made an appetizer with the Wholly Guacamole and Salsa Verde. Umm… not all of it made it to the dish as we ate while we prepared it. This Wholly Salsa Verde with Guacamole is absolutely perfect. The taste of salsa verde stands out and you can taste the guacamole at the same time. It was a taste sensation that had us scraping the bowl clean to get it all. This was also a very easy dish because we wanted Wholly to do all the work.
We simply took a can of refried beans, topped that with some sour cream and layered it with the Wholly Salsa Verde and Guacamole. We then topped it with some shredded cheese. Need I say that it is all gone?
